A co-worker passed an article along to me today that asked the question, “At what point will Artificial Intelligence begin to think for itself and decide that humanity must suffer? Is such a thing even possible?”
Some might think I’m wrong…but I believe the Bible gives some insight on this very topic.
In Revelation Chapter 13, it is revealed that in the midst of the 7 Year TRIBULATION an image will be created of the Antichrist. An image that people will be forced to worship or be killed if they don’t.
The way this image is described in Scripture is interesting, and I think in line with the article my co-worker sent me.

“…the earth-beast (the false prophet) deceives the inhabitants of the earth, commanding them to make an image of the first beast (the Antichrist). And the earth-beast (the false prophet) was granted permission to breathe into the image and to ANIMATE it so that it could speak. It (the image) decreed that those who refuse to worship the image must be killed.”

I believe that what this Scripture is predicting for the future will be the culmination of ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.
Right now, we’re seeing the beginning stages of what’s going to be used in the TRIBULATION. I really believe that.
