Could the antichrist be alive somewhere today? Absolutely.
For most of my life I’ve heard people accuse certain individuals of being the “antichrist”. Sometimes it’s said in a joking manner and other times there’s real contemplation about the subject. I can’t deny, that in the past, I’ve said similar things as well.
But here’s the truth…It’s clear from Scripture that CHRISTIANS HAVE TO BE RAPTURED before the Antichrist can rise to power. (2 Thessalonians 2:5-12). Until then…none of us are going to know who this man is.
So, what do we know about him? There are a few details that the Bible gives us.
---He will be introduced as an adult, not a child ---He will be a charismatic leader ---He will sway the masses with his speaking ability ---His eloquence will be captivating ---The nations will unite in a one-world government with him as supreme leader ---He will be the incarnation of Satan, the great deceiver
