Courtney,
Sometimes during my workday I'll have a quiet moment to myself, and I almost always turn to look at these pictures on my filing cabinet. Awesome moments captured this very day, three years ago. A day in which this Texas boy and his kids, made a forever covenant with this beautiful Kentucky girl and God. From that day forward, no longer has it been, her and I...Jeremy...Courtney...the kids...but instead we're FAMILY...we're US...we're the WALKERS.
As I write these very words, I look at your picture again. I remember this moment...sitting in the tall grass...with a goofy grin plastered on my face because I knew that somehow, I had won your heart. The most beautiful woman I've every seen was sitting next to me...in my arms...holding my hand...smiling with me...loving me. Though that moment in time only lasted seconds, I remember my thoughts vividly. They weren't complex, but instead they were excited and uncontrolled.
Holy cow, Courtney Hale just married me! I remember thinking; and I kept repeating that in my head over and over. It was not in the least bit lost on me that I had out punted my coverage with you. You are and will always be the woman of my dreams. Never before have I seen a person love so passionately...serve so humbly...and dream so vividly. You're an amazing wife and mother, and you have a laugh that lights up my soul. I adore you Courtney, and in three years of marriage I still find myself thinking, Holy cow, I'm married to Courtney Hale! I have no doubts at all, that I will always be thinking that. I'm so proud of you and I'm honored to be your husband...thank you for being my wife.
I love you always,
Jeremy
